1. How To Prepare For A Boudoir Photo Shoot?

You’ve already gotten yourself to actually book a boudoir photoshoot for yourself. All you have to do now is make it to the photoshoot because from here on, we’ve got it all covered.

We will send you preparation guides to help you get ready for the day of your boudoir shoot.

Plain and simple. Simply relax, get pampered if you want (or not), pick outfits that you want to wear and even consult your boudoir photographer about it. Boudoir photography doesn’t require you to look like a supermodel. I’ll take care of that during your boudoir shoot! 2. How Can I Work On Not Being Awkward During A Boudoir Photoshoot?

You are not alone! Unless you are a supermodel, it’s normal. That’s why I’m here. I will coach you and direct you through the boudoir photo shoot and showcase your best angles that bring out your natural beauty. I’ll make sure that you strike the right poses and join you as I demonstrate what needs to happen. My secret boudoir photography posing system will give you the hourglass every woman dreams of!!

3. Do I Need To Do Hair & Makeup For My Boudoir Photoshoot?

Unless you are a Youtuber or Instagram influencer who makes money by testing beauty products and sharing makeup techniques, our HMUA will take care of it for you.

We will make sure your beauty is highlighted in front of the camera. You just sit back and relax!

However, do let us know if you have a specific look you want to achieve. We will make sure that you are comfortable with your look and that you are camera ready!

4. What Should I Wear During My Boudoir Photography Session?

Once you book the boudoir photo session, I will send you a wardrobe guide and walk you through how to flatter different body types. I always suggest having at least 4 sets of lingerie which gives you a seductive sensual and sexy look! The rest of choice can range from bodysuit, sheer top, corsets to partner’s shirt, oversized sweater. If you want to shoot nude, that’s also fine!

5. Can Men Have Boudoir Photography Sessions As Well?

Of course! Everyone deserves a lifelong gift. I have extensive experience photographing men as well. Boudoir photography for men AKA dudeoir photography is not the most famous thing in the world but it is definitely something that every one of any gender and sexuality should explore if this is something that connects with them.

6. Where Do Boudoir Photoshoots Take Place?

Boudoir shoots should feel 100% true to you. This is from the outfit, props and location down to the style of the boudoir shoot. I hold my boudoir photoshoot sessions in my studio in Cairns. However, I also travel for boudoir photography clients wherein we can organise boudoir photography sessions in a hotel room, Airbnb or outdoor locations like a beach, rainforest or even a desert.
